An Off Season Look

Hey Gang,

If any of you are like me you are going over some big coaster withdrawals. I can tell you one thing, I cant wait to get to the park and get on Dominator. I did get some great pictures of the off season at Kings Dominion to tide us over.

As you can see in the first picture you have a view of the Kings Dominion sign at the front of the park, with a look at the international fountain in the background. Its all drained and odd looking. In the off season it is drained and cleaned out to make it look all pretty for the upcoming season.

In this picture you can see the Nickelodeon Sky Fliers and some of the Rugrats Toonpike cars stored in the Pavilions. That is to keep them from getting damaged in the winter weather!






Finally we have a before and after picture of Hypersonic XLC. As you can see they have totally removed the launch area from the midway and it will be paved over for the 2009 season. That means there is nothing left in the park of our dear friend XLC.

Land clearing is still all thats going on at the sites of Americana and El Dorado. Since they are flat rides they don't need a lot of construction time. They will go up really fast.
