I was referring to taking pics along Doswell RD. & not on any rides.

Hello all,
This is my first post on here and I just wanted to comment on how exciting all of this is right now! I cannot wait until we get some more concrete news, but just hearing about the lake getting expanded is wonderful!

I myself would love to see an Intamin giga, but I do have my doubts of course. Judging from what I heard in the podcast, they want to put a big attraction in. They want KD to be the top park on the east coast, which means competing with SFGA and BGE. That means something better than Kingda Ka, Griffon and Apollo's Chariot. I can't wait to see what is coming! Anyone have any new pics or updates from the park??

The tracks are not wooden. They are steel. Since we are not allowed to post pictures, you will just have to go see for yourself, or take my word for it....

you are not allowed to take any on ride pictures at any time while riding any roller coaster. If we find that you have then action will be taken.

Also the track you are refering to is old track I think it is from hypersonic.

Cool. That's what I thought, just wanted a second opinion. :D

I apologize for the "picture taking" bit in my post. I will be more careful in the future.

Just got back from the park. Major tree destruction going on well behind Rebel Yell's turnaround. Unfortunately it is next to impossible to get any shots of it. The only place you can really even see it is from Rebel Yell's turnaround, and obviously photos are impossible from this angle. It's quite frustrating. I climbed Pipeline Peak and was somewhat heartened to see that you can now see *some* landclearing from the top. I also saw two more patches of what looked like landclearing from Pipeline Peak, but they looked rather old to me, so they probably didn't mean anything. I also attached a photo of an orange flag on a tree behind Zume Flume, but again, this could be leftovers from past construction.

Also, I drove down Doswell Road and you can see absolutely nothing. Everything about this project is like 5 foot too low or a few yards too far to the left or right to see ANYTHING. If only Flight of Fear didn't have that blasted hill to the right of its outdoor queue, we'd have a very nice overview of the site. What we desperately need is a webcam atop Anaconda. Until then, we really have no idea how far back they are clearing out trees.

I think he was joking when he said this - as a way to answer the "what is going on behind Anaconda?" question without giving anything away. Pretty much most of what he said seemed pretty tongue-in-cheek.

This is getting torturous! I want some real information! From what I can see of the pictures Furgusonat posted alot of work has been done. The one taken near the wave pool definitely looks like a path the track could be taking! Or was that already there? A couple of the pictures definitely show some interesting paths! I hope its as big, if not bigger than Diamondback!

I think that path was already there. I was simply showing that landclearing is pushing onward, deeper into the woods. :D The fact that they are still toppling trees tells me this is no ispeed or Maverick. A ride like that would definitely have fit in the land already cleared away as of last week. At this point, this long straight, narrow path they are creating is either a launch or a lifthill.

I bet we hear some official word anywhere between late July and mid August.
